Karyn
has over 20 years experience in secretarial and
administrative support. Her responsibilities have
included event planning, grant writing, contract and
board report writing and editing, monitoring of
legal services, monitoring of grant funding from the
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD),
training and legislative outreach. Karyn
prides herself on attention to detail and the close
business relationships that have developed as a
result of her ability to direct a project to
closure.
Karyn
has also dedicated much of her life to volunteer for
wild and domestic animal organizations such as the
Wildlife Waystation
for over 16 years as well as the
Los Angeles Zoo in California
and
Carolina Tiger Rescue in NC. She
currently volunteers for the
Aloha Safari Zoo. Her
volunteer experiences include tours, associate
council member, animal handling committee member,
Sr. Animal handler and animal handler instructor
(education), grants and foundation committee member,
wildlife animal rescue and rehabilitation,
veterinarian assistance, animal care as well as an array of other jobs.
Karyn
holds a Masters degree in Organizational Management
and a Bachelors in Occupational Education -
Corporate Training and Development. The blend
of her education and experiences allow her to easily
identify your "needs" and implement a plan
to fulfill them with efficiency creating a
professional and effective partnership.
